The following steps and screenshots will help you to connect to UF Wireless Service. These steps only need to be performed once. Any student resident with a valid GatorLink username and password can use DHNet Wireless Service. If you have forgotten your GatorLink password, please visit http://www.gatorlink.ufl.edu/ or call (352) 392-HELP.
NOTE: Due to the complexity of this tutorial it is recommended that you use the automatic configuration wizard by going to http://getonline.dhnet.ufl.edu
At the bottom right corner of your desktop, locate your Network Icon.
Left-Click on this to bring up the list of available wireless networks.
Click on the network named uf then click on Connect.
Enter your GatorLink username and password when prompted.
Click OK to continue.
Click the Connect button to allow the computer to authenticate your GatorLink credentials.
The uf network should now be labeled as Connected. Right-click the uf network and click on View Connection Properties.
You should now see the UF Wireless Network Properties window.
Click on the Settings button near the right side of the window.
On the Protected EAP Properties window, click the top two checkboxes, then in the text field, type radauth1.dhnet.ufl.edu
Next, click the checkbox next to AddTrust External CA Root
Click OK to return to the UIF Wireless Network Properties window.
Click OK again to return to the desktop.
Repeat Steps 1 through 3 and then UF will be labeled as Connected and it will be properly configured.
You Are Now Connected!
