OS X El Capitan

The following steps and screenshots will help you to connect to UF Wireless Service. These steps only need to be performed once. Any student resident with a valid GatorLink username and password can use DHNet Wireless Service. If you forgot your GatorLink password, please visit http://www.gatorlink.ufl.edu/ or call (352) 392-HELP.

NOTE: Due to the complexity of this tutorial it is recommended that you use the automatic configuration wizard by going to http://getonline.dhnet.ufl.edu

Step 1

Select Open network preferences… from the network drop-down menu.

Step 2

Select the Advanced button while in the Wi-Fi tab.

Step 3

Select the “+” button to add a network profile.

Step 4

Input UF for Network name, select WPA2 Enterprise for security, and then input you GatorLink credentials in the username and password fields. Then click OK.

Step 5

Move the UF network profile above UF by clicking and dragging it. This is will make the UF network connect automatically when it’s in range. Then click OK.

Step 6

Now select the UF network from the available drop down menu to connect successfully.

You Are Now Connected!

You have now successfully connected to the UF Wireless Service. If you have problems at any time during this procedure, visit a DHNet@Home location, call (352) 392-2465, or submit an iServiceDesk Request.
