How to Connect a PlayStation 3

 

Step 1

Under Network Settings, Select Settings and Connection Status List

Scroll Down To Find the MAC Address and Then Register that MAC address at www.DHNet.ufl.edu/deviceregistration/
Note: If you wish to connect the PS3 using a WIRED Connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the device and register the WIRED/ETHERNET MAC.

Step 3

On the Home Screen, navigate to settings and select Network Settings. Under Network Settings, select Internet Connection Settings.Select OK

Select Easy

Select Wireless

Select Scan

When selecting the wireless networks, select “ufdevice”.

Keep the SSID name “ufdevice”

Keep the Wireless Security Setting at “WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK”

Step 11

You will now be prompted for a password. The password is “gogators” without the apostrophes. After this you will be online and can continue to use your PlayStation as normal.
