UF Housing and Residence Education provides high speed internet access to all residence hall rooms. The DHNet service provides a reliable, secure network centered around the 802.1x security protocol. Our service aims to provide a quick and enjoyable way to access the academic resources you need as well as the internet services you want.
All students need to connect to our wired service is a modern operating system and an RJ-45 Ethernet cable. However, because we use security measures beyond a typical ISP, students will need to set up their computers to connect to DHNet services. To connect they can plug in their Ethernet cable to the port and go to http://getonline.dhnet.ufl.edu. Students can get assistance setting up by going to the Wired Tutorials, a DHNet@Home location, or contacting us at 352-392-2465.
For information on what types of activity or software is accepted on DHNet services, please review our policies.
