Don’t Get Blocked by SafeConnect

On Wednesday, May 10th at 7:00am, we will move SafeConnect from warnings into blocking.  This means that if you are not compliant with any of the SafeConnect Policies, you will be blocked from accessing the Internet.  One of the main reasons residents get blocked is due to outdated Adobe Flash plugins.  In many cases, Adobe Flash can be completely removed from the system as both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge include a version of Flash that gets updated constantly.  If you have Adobe Flash installed and do not need it to browse the web, please uninstall it completely from your computer.

NOTE: On some Windows computers, the Adobe Flash ActiveX plugin does not completely remove.  We have created the Adobe Flash ActiveX Removal Tool to use after you have uninstalled Adobe Flash through Control Panel.  This will ensure that you have completely removed Adobe Flash from your computer.  Once downloaded, you will need to find the file, right-click, and choose Run As Administrator in order for it to work.
