Tutorial: Connecting to DHNet Wireless service
Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3
NOTE: You must have Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3 for Windows XP installed before following these instructions. Please visit Windows Update to get the latest service pack for Windows XP.
In order to allow for WPA2 access in Windows XP, please download the Update for Windows XP (KB893357).
The following steps and screen shots will help you to connect to DHNet Wireless. These steps only need to be performed once. Any person with a valid Gatorlink user name and password can use DHNet Wireless. If you have forgotten your Gatorlink password, please visit http://www.gatorlink.ufl.edu/ or call (352) 392-HELP.
Common Settings
SSID: dhw
Security Type: WPA2-Enterprise or WPA-Enterprise
Encryption Type: AES (if using WPA2-Enterprise) or TKIP (if using WPA-Enterprise)
