Please note: If you deleted the Frostwire directory and did not follow these instructions, you will need to reinstall Frostwire, then follow these instructions to properly remove Frostwire from your system.

Step 1
If Frostwire is running, click File and click Close.
Step 2
Click on the System menu. Mouse-over Administration. Click Synaptic Package Manager. You will need to enter your password.

Click Search.

Step 4
Type frostwire. Click Search.

Step 5
Click the checkbox next to frostwire. Click Mark for Complete Removal.

Step 6
Click Apply.

Step 7
Confirm the changes and click Apply.

Step 8
When the uninstallation has finished, click Close. Close the main Synaptic window.
